From Wilmington: Take 100 south into Jacksonville. When you reach the center of Jacksonville, with the store on the corner, make a left onto Gates Pond Road. This will weave you around to Halifax, it is paved the entire way. There are a couple of forks while on Gates Pond, stay to the right if you are in question. This road will take you straight down into Halifax center, when you pass the school on the right look for your next left. The left hand turn is Jacksonville Stage Road, it will take you up a large hill. Stay straight on this, it will turn to a dirt road. When you reach a big open four corners, with a row of mailboxes on your right, make a left onto Old County Road. Deer Park Road will be your first right, about a half mile down. You can’t miss the barn on your right as you drive up this road
